Starrett bimetal blades have a super-hard M42 tooth edge and a flexible carbon steel backing that provide excellent metal cutting properties for both production and general maintenance use. Use these band saw blades for cutting steel, stainless steel, brass, aluminum and most other standard metals. Remember to always use metal cutting fluid or metal cutting compound whenever possible for much longer blade life vs cutting dry.
